During the Soviet union era, Professor Patrice Lumumba shared equal grounds with it’s propaganda in Africa.
This was because it was closely linked with adequate educational institutions for equipping and training people to become specialists for African development and economic stride.
But after the collapse of the Soviet Union, the Congolese leader, Patrice Lumumba, was cast away into oblivion, although he was restored to his position in April 2023, a bid to convince African leaders to attend the second Russia-Africa summit.
