Granddaughter of Otumfuo Opoku Ware II’s daughter Emily Owusu-Nyantekyi ties the knot with her fiancé, Mr. Kwadwo Amponsah in a grand style on Saturday, January 7, 2023.
The wedding graced the internet with its elegance, royalty and class.
The marriage was graced by the likes of the President, Akufo Addo and his wife, First Lady of the Ashanti Kingdom, Otumfuo-Yere Julia Osei Tutu, Royals, Dignitaries and crème de la crème.
The wedding was held at the magnificent Holy Spirit Cathedral in Accra which started off with a Church service and ended in a plush reception at the Kempinski Hotel.
The reception was held at the Adlon ballroom of the hotel which made an impact on social media with its colorful decorations.
The bride is said to be lawyer and economist but little is known of the groom.
Dr. Leslie Oheneba Akyaa Opoku Ware is the mother of the bride and daughter of the late Nana Opoku Ware II, the 15th King of the Ashanti Kingdom.
She is a medical doctor and currently Ghana’s Ambassador Plenipotentiary to Russia.
