The greatest footballer of all time Pele, has passed away at age 82 after battling with colon cancer.
The former Brazilian footballer is widely regarded as the greatest footballer after a successful football career.
Pele is the only player ever to have won the World Cup three times, including at the age of just 17.
Prior to his dying away a month after receiving palliative care, he had been taken to the hospital on November 30 with swelling all over his body and “decompensated heart failure.”
On his 82nd birthday on October 23, 2022, he made a post on social media stating that he was ‘in good health’.
Pele was one of the most influential people of the 20th Century, and one of the first black global sports icons.
