The church of Pentecost which has been seen to be doing a lot of projects within the prisons of Ghana has made it known during a four day Re-integration conference held by the church by the Chairman of the church’s Prison Ministry, Apostle ADP James Tetteh, that the church has paid the fine of 40 prisoners.

The prisoners who were seen at the conference meeting shared their joy and gratitude by dancing and singing praises to God.

Apostle James Tetteh made it known that the ministry is all about sharing the word of God with prisoners who should not be neglected.

He added that false religion and cults brood are available in these prisons due to lack of chaplains in prisons.

He therefore urged the church to get to them first. “we must therefore get there first,” he said.

He added that the gospel offered the prisoners God’s forgiveness and new hope of life.

He ended by saying the church plans in providing legal aid to prisoners and also supports in their welfare as well as rehabilitation.
