Ghana’s ambassador to UK & Ireland tests positive for corona virus infection

Ghana’s ambassador to the United Kingdom and the Ireland, Papa Owusu Ankomah reportedly has tested positive for Corona virus infection earlier today.

According to the report, the Ambassador tested positive on the 10th April of April and has been taken to the Intensive care Unit of a London Hospital in the United Kingdom.

The United Kingdom has recorded a total number of 8,681+ new confirmed cases for Covid-19 infection, with 980+ new deaths recorded. In total the United Kingdom has recorded a total of 73,758 confirmed cases of Corona virus infections.

Out of this total number, a total of one hundred and thirty-five (135) persons have recovered. Nine hundred and eighty (980) deaths has been recorded.

The United Kingdom Government indicated that ” “Today’s figures for positive tests have been adjusted to include positive case results from swab testing for key workers and their households (pillar 2). These will be included in the daily figures from today, 10 April. If these results were excluded from the figures, as they have been previously, the daily increase in the number of people who tested positive would have been 5,195.

“Data on positive case results from swab testing for key workers and their households between 25 March and 8 April is available” says the UK Government.
