“Drivers Should Use Ground Level Of Atomic Until Work Is Done” — Ghana Highway Authority

The swift maintenance of the Atomic Bridge was scheduled on October 3, 2024 and there has been a lot of traffic buildup from that stretch.

Following the directives of the Bridge Management unit of Ghana Highway Authority, the bridge will be undergoing specific maintenance in areas where 26 of it’s joints are to be expanded for the next 20 days in this month.

The work will be made to commence every evening from 8:00 pm to 6:00 am every morning till the allotted days are over.

Ing. Aaron Nana Amponsah, the Project Manager for the Bridge Management unit has instructed that all drivers should use the ground level of the bridge to avoid accidents and disruption of the ongoing work.

On the other hand, Hon. Francis Asenso-Boakye stressed on the essence of maintenance which will ensure safety on the road and protect pedestrians, cyclists and drivers in Ghana.
