“I am Still Standing” — Elton John To Release Life Documentary As He Wants To Retire From Music Touring
Having mentioned in an interview that there is not much left of him, pianist and songwriter Elton John expressed profound gratitude to his fans for supporting him throughout his fifty years in the music field.
After this, the ‘Nikkita’ hit maker opened up about the various health challenges life had thrown at him from 1990 through to 2016, in which he is “still standing’, as one of his songs is entitled.
“To be honest with you, there’s not much left of me. I don’t have a prostate, right hip, left knee or a right knee. I only have my left hip. But I am still here and I can’t thank you enough, you’re the ones who made me.”
Sadly, the iconic Elton John may not be able to tour as much as he would want to because he is “now 77”, but he is set to launch a new documentary about his life and music, at the Toronto International Film Festival and it will be aired in US o Disney+ from December 13, 2024.
The documentary is dubbed “Never Too Late” with a description that tells the story about Elton John’s life onstage, behind scenes and in the recording studio.
