The two countries have plans to embark on faster and swifter transactions through the border between Ghana and Nigeria.
This is due to the fact that they both form part of the African Continental Free Trade Area(AfCFTA).

“We have had conversations for years about having an exact connected market, so we need to break some old rules to make this happen, as this is an initiative expected to improve upon financial integration across African borders.”
