The two countries have plans to embark on faster and swifter transactions through the border between Ghana and Nigeria.
This is due to the fact that they both form part of the African Continental Free Trade Area(AfCFTA).
Private legal practitioner, Mr. Gabby Otchere-Darko, shared an indepth information about the above on X, in a post, describing the decision as a major one after all.
“We have had conversations for years about having an exact connected market, so we need to break some old rules to make this happen, as this is an initiative expected to improve upon financial integration across African borders.”
