The NDC chairman, Mr. Zaa Nyaya, for Tamale South constituency has disclosed certain preparations the party had put in place, in case the Electoral Commission decides to thwart the upcoming elections on December 7, 2024.
He emphasized that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is fully emboldened with the essential mechanisms to sense any foul play ahead of the Electoral Commission, likewise the security that will be deployed during the elections.
“This election is a time for change. We won’t allow the NPP even one second to rule this country again. We are, also entreating the EC to do the right thing, free and fair for everybody. If they want peace, they will get, but if they want kɛchɛ, no problem, we are ready for whatever”, Mr. Nyaya warned.
The NDC chairman for the Tamale South constituency added that he and his team support peace and therefore demand equity from all those involved in the Electoral Commission affairs.
“I don’t know why they don’t want to create a forensic audit of our voter’s register. This is plain cheating!”, he added during a press engagement, in the midst of the NDC’s ‘Enough Is Enough’ demonstration at Tamale.
