The National Democratic Congress is set to launch its 2024 campaign in Tamale on July 27, 2024.
This was disclosed by former President John Dramani Mahama at a rally in Nungua.
Speaking to charged supporters of the party, former President Mahama urged the members to unit and close their ranks so they could work towards a common purpose.
He added that the National Democratic Congress will ensure that their votes is counted and protected.
Ahead of the elections, several polls have returned in favor of the former president, who is set to compete with his arch-rival, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia from the ruling New Patriotic Party. This notwithstanding, the ruling party strongly believes it has what it takes to break the eight and remain in government, banking on what they describe as unprecedent achievements in every sector of the economy.
