The Institute of Public Relations Ghana has inducted Esther Amba Numaba Cobbah into office as President for a two-year renewable term.
Madam Cobbah takes over from Mr. Mawuko Afadzinu who was President for two consecutive terms.
The investiture took place at the Accra City Hotel in Accra in a colorful event to mark World Public Relations Day, which coincided with the Golden Jubilee Anniversary of the Institute.
The event was well attended by past and present council members, including Kojo Yanka, Dr. Spiow Garbrah and Mr. Albert Don Chebe.
Others included Hon. Sylvester Tetteh, Deputy Minister of Information; Michael Kofi Twum Boafo, Communications Specialist at the Office of the President; Albert Dwumfour, President of the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) and John Awuah, CEO of the Ghana Association of Banks.
In her acceptance speech, expressed her uttermost gratitude for the PR fraternity for the honor done to her by her elections.
She was full of praise for the past executives and committee members for their dedicated services.
