Former President John Dramani Mahama has proposed the establishment of a National Women’s Bank.
According to the former President, the move forms part of a wider gender related projects that will characterize a John Jane administration.
The project is expected to provide support to 1 million women to support who be be beneficiaries of grants and loans for their businesses.
Since its announcement, a lot of people have taken to social media to question the rationale of such a bank when projects including Masloc is already in place.
Meanwhile the former president has also reiterated the need for an equitable society, where talent and hard work will determine one’s success.
He decried the situation where the young people of the country are being sidelined, stating that the current administration is undeserving of the trust of the youth.
