Muntaka Mubarak asks Ghana police to investigate murder allegations made against him by new party chairman
Member of Parliament for Asawase, Hon. Muntaka Mubarak has said that he wants the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Ashanti leadership and the police to investigate allegations made by the new party Chairman of the constituency against him.
On Friday January 13, 2023, the new party chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Asawase constituency of the Ashanti region, Faisal Dauda, at a press conference, said the Member of Parliament, Muntaka Mubarak wants him killed.
According to the chairman, the Asawase MP hired thugs to shoot him down due to the supposed disagreement between them.
The MP reacting to the statement, petitioned the Ghana police to investigate the allegations made by the Chairman against him.
The Asawase MP also spoke with Luv news about the issue when he presented financial aid about ¢300,000 to 110 needy students in his constituency to help pursue various courses at the tertiary level.
