A tragic car accident on the Obuasi-Tamale road has left two employees of the Obuasi Gold mines dead and one severely ininjured.
The incident occured on December 28, 2022.
Sources claim that the victims’ car run off the road near Kintampo in the Bono East Region and struck a tree, killing two occupants instantly.
According to reports, the only female passenger onboard is responding to care at the Kintampo Government Hospital while the bodies of the other two have been deposited in the morgue at the same hospital.
This mishap is one of many that have happened during the holiday season involving vehicles.
