Archbishop-Elect, Prophet Salifu Amoako is predicting doom for the country if the police go ahead to implement and enforce its directive to religious organizations.
The Police in a statement, ahead of the 31st Night Service, had warned religious bodies and leaders to desist from prophesies that have the tendencies to cause fear, panic, and alarm.
Among others, the police vowed to bring persons behind such prophesies to book, in line with section 207 of Ghana’s constitution.
This directive has since been a subject of controversies, with some for and against the move.
But Speaking to Onua TV, the experienced man of God averred that the directive would impede the prophetic Ministry.
According to him, an attempt to control the prophetic ministry can incur the wrath of God, upon the Nation.
While he commended the Inspector General of Police, Dr. Akufo Dampare for being firm and proactive in his role, he equally took issues with the fact the prophets were not engaged before the issuance of this directive.
