Root out Corrupt Elements-GRA urged.

The Minister for National Security, Hon. Kan Dapaah has decried the level of collaborative corruption among some state institutions in Ghana.

He made this remarks when Commissioners, Management and Employees of the Ghana Revenue Authority took their turn on session for the GRA on the Nation’s Security plan.

Mr. Albert Kan Dapaah noted that to stem this tide, there is the need for state institutions to consciously rid itself of some bad nuts among its rank and file.

According to him, the numerous remarkable work of the Ghana Revenue Authority is usually obscured by these corrupt persons, who work towards their parochial interest.

He therefore asked the Ghana Revenue Authority to root out corrupt elements to improve upon efficiency in revenue collection and mobilization.

He further reiterated the commitment of all its associated agencies in helping the Ghana Revenue Authority to plug all the leakages and slippages in revenue mobilization system in the country.
