A Customer Service/Experience Expert, Priscilla Wellington Asante has called on business owners to be conscious and deliberate about training their staff on the ethos of great customer experience.
She mentioned that customer service is the life blood of business, since businesses thrive only when they have profitable customers.
‘‘Customer Service is not the icing on the cake. It is the Cake itself, ‘’ she stated.
According to her, when businesses fail to train their staff on their customer service philosophy, methodologies and core-values, they risk losing their brand equity, revenues and profits.
‘‘Customer service affect businesses in a very crucial way and the moment, we gave attention to it, the better for our businesses,’’ she added.
She attributed the inability of some Ghanaian businesses to outlive their owners to poor customer orientation of some Ghanaian businesses.
