Coalition of Krobo Youth is pleading with the President and Management of ECG to intervene in an impasse that has left them without light for two weeks.

This has since plunged residence in the Yilo and Manye Krobo district in total darkness.
This followed fallouts from the refusal of some residence in the district to pay a long-standing electricity bills.
The decision was to put to rest the pockets of violence and harassments perpetuated against staff and facilities of ECG in the district.
But in a press conference, Convenor of the group, Frederick Narh noted that the power outage in the district has had a telling effect on the economic and social lives of the people.
He promised that the youth will provide adequate security and safety for staff of ECG, when they resume operations in the district.
According to him,the unlawful acts of the few recalcitrant persons should not keep over 300, 000 people in perpetual darkness.
I call on the President, the Board and Management of the Electricticty Company of Ghana to intervene to bring a lasting solutions to this issue, he stated.
