Controversial Ghanaian musician, Patapaa lost his cool during an interview in the studios of Byte TV.
In the widely circulated video, the Swedru-based artist could be seen gesticulating his anger and exasperation, sometimes at the hostess.
The artist got angered by the hostess’ attempt to get him to apologize to Tracy Sarkcess, the wife of SARKODIE, for some disparaging comments he had dished at her.
It is recalled that in one of his repertoires, Sarkodies had rendered that but for God’s money making grace on his life, he would be left with no option than have Patataa perform at his funeral.
This rather harmless lyrical line, was however, not taken kindly by Patataa, leading to backlash on both Sarkodie and his wife.
The hostess, who disagreed to Patapaa’s approach of roping TracySarkcess in his issue with Sarkodie, asked the visibly irked artist to render an apology to the former.
Her request, however, deepened Patataa’s rage as he ranted that Tracy Sarkcess cannot be absolved of blame. To him, Tracy could have advised her husband to desist from passing such derogatory comments on other artists.
‘’I don’t know Tracy. Who is Tracy. I have not seen her before. If my wife will not allow me to disrespect any other artist, I don’t see why she can’t also advise her husband no to,’’ Patapaa pushed back.
