GBA Presidential Hopeful, Spain, Outlines First-ever GBA TV

Mr. Henry Manly Spain, current Vice President and Presidential hopeful of the Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA), has outlined a first-ever GBA TV if elected boss of GBA.

He said the establishment of a GBA TV coupled with great marketing and advertisements, would generate revenue that the boxing fraternity could use.

“Now as a business person, I’m bringing on board GBA TV. GBA TV will bring in the resources.

“Now if we have a credible TV station and we market our stuffs well, I think we will have institutions or potential investors to come in for people to even advertise on our programs as long as we doing the right things.”

Mr. Manly Spain, also a veteran promoter and manager expressed that the money made from the boxing TV could be used to improve and expand gyms for the association.

“So yes GBA can make money, and with that, such an amount of money can assist the gyms but putting certain programs in good perspective could definitely bring us as I’ve said, some sort of an income for us to assist the gyms.”

Mr Manly Spain, who would see his ticket for the association Presidency challenged when the association holds its executive polls in July 2020, spoke to Metro TV on Tuesday.

Mr Spain, vise to current President of the Ghana Boxing Association, Lawyer Peter Zwenes, who has withdrew from vying for a third term, is favorite to be next GBA boss.
