Burma Camp gets 64 new 2-bedroom apartments.

As part of Government’s effort to address the accommodation plights of the Armed forces, His Excellency Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo-Addo on Tuesday 12th May, 2020 commissioned the “New Doula barracks” at Burma camp.

The project which was initiated by government in June 2017, was to address the accommodation challenges of the Armed forces and also to ease the discomfort Troops and their families have been confronting over the past years.

The new 4 blocks comprises of 64 apartments, each apartment has a Living room, two(2) bedrooms, a kitchen and standard sanitary facilities.

According to the President, similar ongoing accommodation projects at Air-borne Force, Six (6) Infantry Battalion is near completion and other ones also also been undertaken in the Garrisons.
