The Black Galaxies are set to play with Niger in the upcoming quarter-finals of the 2022 Championship of African Nations (CHAN).
The two countries would be playing against each other on Saturday, 28th January 2023, at the Miloud Hadefi Stadium in Oran, Algeria.
Ghana finished in 2nd place in Group C behind Madagascar with 6 points after winning against Sudan and been awarded 3 point because Morocco abandoned the tournament.
However, Niger won Group E with 4 points, after a 1-0 win over Cameroon in their final group match on Tuesday, January 24, 2023.
This quarter final clash makes it the second time these two countries are meeting at the tournament.
Niger won the the first clash against the Black Galaxies 1-0 at the 2011 edition in Sudan.
