The Ghana Education Service (GES) made a recent adjustment to the 2024-2025 academic calendar and the specific date for first year students to come to school.
The announcement is to remind all first year students on the single track, transitional students and all continuing students of the various schools in Ghana are to report on Wednesday, October 30, 2024.
This implies that all prospective students awaiting their BECE results and SHS placements are to start preparation for school on the said date, a change to signify that the calendar for school activities in September 2025 would be followed, paving way for the final year examinations and WASSCE in May and June respectively.
