Joyce Mogtari Bawah, the special aide and spokesperson to John Mahama, of the National Democratic Congress, admonished Alexander Afenyo Markin to remain calm and humble at all times, irrespective of the circumstances.
Mr. Alexander Afenyo Markin is, currently, the immediate minority leader after four seats in Parliament had been declared vacant.
The decision to move him from the majority to minority was effected after the Speaker of Parliament, Mr. Alban Bagbin, revealed that four seats were vacant based on Article 97 of the 1992 constitution.
That part of the constitution applies to a member of Parliament who changes political party to join another after being elected within those reins, implying that he or she vacates seat at all cost.
