Communications lead for the New Patriotic Party’s 2024 election bid, Mr. Dennis Aboagye has expressed optimism in his party’s chance of emerging victorious in the 2024 elections.
He noted that the party was fully focused on annexing power, despite numerous polls suggesting otherwise.
He made these comments in response to a Fitz report which puts President Mahama ahead of the Dr. Bawumia in the impending elections of 2024
Among others, the report indicates that the former President is likely to win the elections with 54% of the votes.
But commenting on the report, Mr. Aboagye noted that such polls are a lot of times detached from the realities on the ground
‘‘We have a clear strategy on how to win the elections. We will win the elections. Don’t let anyone think the elections are over,’’ he stated
He discounted suggestions that such polls could demoralize and destabilize the party’s base.
Mr. Aboagye cited the numerous legacy projects and unprecedented achievements of President Akuffo-led government to buttress his believe.
