The 45th President of the United States of America, Donald Trump has reportedly been shot.
This happened while speaking at a campaign rally in Pennsylvania.
Secret Service hurriedly moved to shield the former president, who is seen in a viral video with drizzles of blood from his ears.
The Secret Service, according to CNN, maintains that Donald Trump is fine.
Reports have it that the assassin, who snipped from a building outside of the rally venue, has been killed as he battled with Secret Service.
Another bystander is said to have also lost his life amidst the milieu of gun exchange
This has since drawn criticism from many quarters
President Biden has described that attack as a sick violent, condemning the assassination attempt on the former presidents.
Elon Musk has also sent a message of the consolation to Donald Trump stating:
‘‘Last time America had a candidate this tough was Theodore Roosevelt. I fully endorse President Trump and hope for his rapid recovery’’, he stated.
