Two American rappers, Kanye West and J.Cole are rumored to be in Ghana as surprise guest artists for the Black Star Line Festival which takes place today January 6, at the Black Star Square in Accra.
Since the news broke on social media, many music lovers have been tweeting and expressing their excitement.
According to Ghanaian DJ and Broadcaster, Ebenezer Donkor in a tweet on January 5, 2023, Kanye West will be performing at the Black Star Line Festival.
“I’m gathering info that Kanye will be the surprise artist at the Black Star Line Festival in Ghana this weekend.” He tweeted.
In another tweet, KalyJay, a Ghanaian Social Media influencer, also posted that he saw American rapper, J. Cole at a well-known restaurant in Accra.
The Black Star Festival, curated by rappers Vic Mensa and Chance The Rapper, is set to take place tonight.
Black Star Square, Black Star Line Festival is a Pan-African celebration that connects Black people and artists from the Diaspora to The Continent.
Chance the Rapper, Vic Mensa, Erykah Badu, T-Pain, Jeremih, Sarkodie, Tobe Nwigwe, Asakaa Boys, and M.anifest will all perform at the free concert.
