Ghana Black Galaxies have been eliminated from the delayed 2022 CHAN Tournament following a 2-0 defeat to Niger in the quarter-finals on Saturday .
Imarana Dan Baro placed the Menas ahead in the 11th minutes with a header at the Miloud Hadefi Stadium in Oran.
Niger ended the first half of the game with a one goal advantage .
In the second half, Soumana Hainikoye added a second goal to Niger’s lead in the 49th minute. The game ended 2:0 seeing Niger progress to the semifinals and the black Galaxies eliminated .
The Black Galaxies will be given a prize money of $400,000 from CAF for finishing as quarter finalist in Algeria.
This is Niger’s second win over Ghana at the CHAN.
