Ghanaian Hip-hop artiste, Darryl Paa Kwesi Bannerman – Martin popularly known under the stage name Joey B has revealed that he has been battling with asthma for the past few years.
In a series of twitter posts on Saturday, January 7, 2023, the hip-hop artist disclosed that he has been having constant asthmatic attacks after it became serious in 2018.
Ghanaians unknown to them, have been infuriated by his absence at several musical concerts after paying to watch the hip – hop artist perform.
Several people took to their social media to express their displeasure for the artist being paid and releasing a flyer but failed to show up for two consecutive times.
According to Joey B, his condition was communicated to the event organizers at the last minute.
“My condition was communicated to the event organizers at the last minute as I thought I could push through but it over me kraa,” he said in a tweet.
The hip-hop artist has since apologized to Ghanaians and added that he appreciates every effort his fans make to see him on stage.
