The Chinese Regal Restaurant in Osu has been shutdown by the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA), for failure in complying to E-VAT invoicing system.
The E-VAT invoicing system enables the GRA to track any transactions through the invoices received by taxpayers.
Joseph Annan, the Area Enforcement Manager for Accra Central GRA, requests that businesses owners comply by the obligations that governs the GRA, and also said the Manager of the Regal Restaurant might also be prosecuted.
