China has still being recording abnormal Covid cases despite the low counts in other countries.
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the country is said to be experiencing a spike in Covid cases.
WHO’s emergencies director Mike Ryan said, “In China, what’s been reported is relatively low number of cases in ICUs, but anecdotally ICUs are filling up”.
Head of WHO, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said, they were very concerned about the recent case in China and would do their best to help get a solution for it.
WHO said they are ready to help China in acquiring adequate data in regards to the situation.
China is known to accumulate most of the vaccines but despite that, they still face a rise in Covid cases.
WHO encourages for the importation of vaccines and opening of centers to aid in making new vaccines.
China has nine Covid vaccines which have been developed domestically but still face the dangerous effects of the disease.
Germany have sent their Bio-NTech vaccines to its expatriates in China, of which over 20,000 Germans are going to benefit from.
