Jackie Appiah Agyeman, popularly known as Jackie Appiah is a renowned Canadian-Ghanaian actress and producer who has made her name in the movie industry through the series of movies she has acted.
In an interview with Citi tv, her father did not want her to pursue her acting career but her mother was okay with the idea.
“My mum was okay about it, my mum loved the idea of me acting but my dad was a bit skeptical about it, he did not like,” she said.
According to her, her dad once lashed out at her mum after she saw her on the television acting, asking why she allowed her to pursue her acting career.
Situations have changed, since her dad started gaining recognitions in relation to her acting career, he has now come to accept who she is and what she does.
