On a wide ranging issues bothering on his political journey,Samini, a veteran Reggae/Dancehall artist, has expressed his willingness to go into politics in the near future.
He was speaking on UTV’s Entertainment Show on Saturday, December 18, 2021.
On whether he has regrets openly campaigning for the ruling political party, he answered in the negative.
According to him, he has no regrets, as his decision to support the ruling party was based on the policies and promises, which he considered helpful, at the time.
While he agreed that a reasonable number of Ghanians are complaining of economic hardship, he equally avers that the government cannot be assessed now, to the extent that her mandate has not been exhausted.
He parried aways claims that his open support for Nana Addo candidature has open him up to public backlash.
‘’Except for a Certain Kelvin Taylor, who went about spreading some falsehood about a Canada-based woman, he claims I have had my children with and other unfounded allegations against my person. Those allegations are absolutely untrue. I am waiting for him to come to Ghana so I pick the matter up with him,’’ he charged.
Samini is set to assembly a galaxy of Ghanain show-stoppers at this year’s Samini Experience Concert, which is slated for December 24, 2021.
