UEFA’s Redraw Sends PSG to Spain.

French Giant, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is set to slug it out with Real Madrid at the quarter finals stages of the UEFA champions league.

Until the reversal of the initial draw, PSG was set to play Manchester United.

This fixer had further generated the Messi-Ronaldo debate, as the two were set to meet for the first time, since both players changed teams.

But UEFA caused a reversal of the earlier draw, citing some technical glitch.

Subsequent draw has seen some interesting pairings, as PSG will now have to contend with the Spanish giant, Real Madrid, for a place of pride in the UEFA Champions League.

This means their talisman, Lionel Messi, will play in Spain, a country where he cut his professional teeth and made tremendous strides at.

Manchester United on the other hand will face Atletico Madrid.

Defending Champions, Chelsea, which were  drawn against Lille in the initial draw and were paired with the reigning French champions when the draw was made again.

Manchester City will take on Sporting while Premier League rivals Liverpool take on Italian Champions Inter.

Red Bull Salzburg will take on 2020 winners Bayern Munich and Villarreal face Juventus. Benfica will play Ajax.
