The Presidential Adviser on Health, Dr. Nsiah Asare has urged Ghanaians to take the vaccination exercises seriously.
He was commenting on directive by the Ministry of Tourism, Creative Arts and Culture for event organizers to request for vaccination cards before from attendees before they are allowed entrance.
December has been declared a vaccination month
The intention is to have a lot of people vaccinate as we head into the festivities.
the Ministry of Tourism, Creative Arts and Culture is leading the charge to get many Christmas revelries vaccinate, as part of measures to reduce the risk of contracting the virus.
Commenting on the directive, Dr. Asare commended the Ministry and ask that the vaccination exercise be taken seriously.
He noted vaccination does not only reduce the risk of contracting the virus, but same also help persons who contract the virus to recover quickly without much complications.
He advised Ghanaians to adhere to all the other safety protocols, as they meet family and friends this yuletide.
