The Minister for Works and Housing and Member of Parliament for Bantama constituency, Francis Asenso-Boakye has participated in the Global Business Forum Africa, 2021.
Held in Dubai between October 13 and 14, 2021, the Global Business Forum Africa 2021, brought the trade investment community to explore bilateral trade opportunities between Dubai and Sub-Saharan Africa.
Speaking with Dubai news on the sidelines of the event, Mr. Asenso-Boakye touted the enabling business environment and opportunities in Ghana and called on the investment community to consider Ghana as their next destination.
He further noted that the Akufo-Addo administration ‘‘has created such an opportune time for businesses to thrive.
The forum was attended by business capos and government officials drawn from Dubai and Sub-Saharan Africa. Notable names included, H. E. Reem Ebrahim Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Cooperation, UAE;H.E. Carlos Alberto Fortes Mesquita, Minister of Industry and Trade and Angela Kyerematen-Jimoh Executive Director and Regional Head IBM North, East and West Africa.
Other influential public and private sector leaders used the event to explore for investment business opportunities,as well.
