Attempt by the NIA to integrate the Ghana cards into various operational activities of government has been met with mixed reactions by Ghanaians.
Whereas some have expressed pessimism about the intentions of the move, others have applauded same.
And as expected, some sections of Ghanaians have given a jovial twist to the Ghana card conversation.
Interestingly, the social media handles of the National Identification Authority have been responding to some enquiries that have come with the conversations.
In recent weeks the NIA cards are being used to replace Tax Identification Numbers and SSNIT numbers for Ghanaians.
The latest directive by the Accountants General to pay only government workers with NIA cards, have equally been met with some conflicting opinions by organized labour and some section of the public.
It therefore does not come as a surprise that netizen will take to Twitter to express their views on the #Ghanacard
