‘Dumsor Exams’: ECG Release May 27-June 11 Timetable
From May 27 to June 11, some parts of Greater Accra will again experience power outages (dumsor), the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has confirmed.

A new schedule for power outages, places to be affected, and at what times, has been released three days after the end of the first planned electricity outages by the ECG
Unlike the first one this year, electricity would go off from 6pm to 12am in the mentioned communities for the duration of the ‘dumsor’ ‘fanfare’.
The company indicated in yet another press statement dated May 20th, 2021, that the power interruption was to enable ongoing system improvement at the Kasoa Bulk Supply Point (BSP).
“As part of projects to improve power supply reliability and system voltage, the Electricity Campany of Ghana in collaboration with the Ghana Grid Company (GRIDCo) will undertake interruption in power supply to facilitate to work of contractors at various stages and times”, it said.
