Restriction of Movement in Ghana extended by one more week

His excellency Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the President of the republic of Ghana has announced an extension of the “restriction of movement of persons” in Ghana by a week.

Speaking on the nation’s TV this evening, he expressed how privileged and proud he is to be the President of the people of Ghana, not just to fight fo the people of Ghana, but to also fight with them to shepherd the country out of the pandemic crisis.

Out the total 387 confirmed cases, one hundred and five (105) came from those who were mandatorily quarantined on tested on their arrival on 21st and 22nd of march, this seem to justify their decision to close down our borders according to the president.

He further assured Ghanaians that the situation is under a full control and borders cannot be opened at this time, they will shut until further notice.

He appealed to the people of Ghana to continue to comply with the measures, maintain good personal hygiene and respect the social distancing protocols, even when they are going to receive the food been shared by Government.
