The body of an unidentified man believed to be in his thirties has been found on the Bimbilla-Kpaturi Road on Sunday morning, January 22, 2023.
The body was discovered next to his motorcycle.
Farmers on the road said there was a robbery last night, and they suspect the man in question was one of the victims who tried to escape for their lives but were unlucky.
A farmer, Fusheini Alhassan told Citi News “I was going to farm, and we saw him lying down. Because of this, I am going back home. In the Dagbani tradition, when you see things like this on your way to the farm, you can not work.”
Bimbilla police arrived to transport the body for autopsy.
The body was placed at the scene after an initial police check revealed that the victim had been murdered elsewhere, as there were cuts on the arms and legs but no blood marks where the body was laying.
Meanwhile, the cause of his death is still unknown. The police officers deployed to the scene declined to give any remarks.
