Adhere to COVID-19 protocol-Bureau of Public safety

The Bureau of Public safety has asked  the government to step up its efforts in ensuring compliance of the COVID-19 safety protocol, as we head into the Christmas festivities.

The institute bemoaned the low compliance rate of the COVID-19 safety protocols.

It has further called on all and sundry to adhere to be deliberate about adhering to safety measures announced by the Ministry of Health and other allied agencies.

Chief of Party at the Bureau, Nana Yaw Akwada underscored the need for the public to be more conscious and intentional about abiding by the safety measures.

He further stressed the need for Ghanaians to eschew apathy towards the safety protocols.

‘’To a large extent compliance to the protocol has really dipped. If you attend funerals and weddings at this times, you can see that the compliance level has dipped’’ he lamented.

He warned of dare health consequences if nothing is done to address the increasing level of non-compliance.

According to him, this trends portends great risk for the country as we head into the new year.
