Minister for Health, Kwaku Agyeman Manu has inaugurated boards for four agencies under the Minister.
The Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) governing board is chaired by Madam Isabella Naana Akyaa Asante whilst the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) is to be chaired by Prof. Augustine W. Kwame Kyere.
The others are the Centre for Plant and Medicine Research (CPMR) Board is chaired by Mr. Thomas Boateng Appiagyei and he Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons Board (GCPS), with Prof. Yaw Adu-Gyamfi as chair.
The various Board Chairs took turns to reaffirm their commitment to the Ministry Mission of promoting high standards in heath care delivery in country.
They also expressed their appreciation for the confidence reposed in them.
