A 22 year old Senegalese university student, Khadim Mboup, has been arrested for disguising himself as a woman to sit his girlfriend’s school-leaving English paper.
Khadim’s images appeared online dressed in women’s clothes, with a red veil, and have been distributed on all social media and news outlets in Senegal.
The local media in Senegal reported that Khadim, who was arrested over the weekend, said he was only acting “out of love” because his girlfriend was having difficulties in English.
He was brought before a court on Monday on charges of impersonation and exam fraud alongside his girlfriend, who was accused of being an accomplice in the crimes.
