Based on a couple of unsightly photos circulating the internet, most Ghanaians are beginning to suspect that the former teacher of Akrofuom D/A Primary School, Teacher Kwadwo, has some mental challenges.
With his official name, ‘Michael Owusu Afriyie’, the intelligent and hardworking young man had always been referred to as ‘Teacher Kwadwo within the media space.
He can be remembered for most of his hilarious encounters, interviews and viral videos on social media whenever he wants to highlight certain defects in the education sector.
Teacher Kwadwo did not only portray his comical side to everyone, but he advocated for change in his field of work, and that is not an attitude most ‘Bigwigs’ like in subordinates.
Some of the pressing issues he talked about was the lack of basic resources in schools, like computer labs, textbooks and inadequate classroom structures for the students.
However, these constant outcries caused his dismissal from working as a teacher, leading him to become a full-time advocate for change on social media.
Whereas, the rumours about Teacher Kwadwo might not be true, it is expected that friends and loved ones would come to his aid and support him through possible struggles.
