A Fatal accident has taken place at the Kwabenya Musuku roundabout in the Dome-Kwabenya Constituency of the Greater Accra Region on Wednesday February 8.
According to an eyewitness report to Class News’ Prince Benjamin, the accident happened around 8 pm.
A Toyota Vitz car bearing the registration GX-3607-20, according to an eyewitness, knocked down two young men on a motorbike off the road.
The Toyota Vitz car somersaulted into a pole.
The men on the motorbike also crushed not too far from the Vitz.
According to another eyewitness report to Class News, the dead youth, suspected to be 18, and his partner had snatched the Vitz driver’s iPhone 13 while on the road. In response, the driver followed and knocked them down.
The driver who crushed into a pole has been reportedly rushed to the hospital. The unidentified dead youth, also the rider of the motorbike was left lying dead not too far from the accident scene but his accomplice was believed to have survived and took to his heels.
Personnels from the Ghana Police Service were at the scene to investigate the incident and also attend to the dead youth.
