Five students of the Ejuraman Anglican Senior High School (SHS) are receiving medical attention in hospital after the school’s dinning hall building collapsed on Monday evening.
The incident happened around 5pm on Monday during a rain storm when the students were about to have supper.
The five were among 40 students who were injured when the roof of the makeshift structure that served as the school’s dining hall caved in.
Aside the five students who suffered serious injuries that required hospitalization, 35 other students incurred minor injuries and trauma.
Graphic Online’s Kwadwo Baffoe Donkor reported that the students were rushed to the Emergency Unit of the Ejura Government Hospital.
