Presbyterian Church Supports National Catheral with GHC 200, 000

The Presbyterian Church of Ghana has donated GH200, 000 towards the National Cathedral Project.

This forms part of the Church’s Corporate Social Responsibility efforts.

Moderator of the Presbyterian Church, The Right Reverend Professor Joseph Obiri Yeboah Mante, made the presentation on the sidelines of a National symposium held by the Church at Osu.

He wondered why conversations on such a national project will be riddled with politicization.

Professor Joseph Obiri Yeboah Mante expressed optimism about the tourism potential of the National cathedral, noting that the country stands to be the ultimate beneficiary.

Rt. Reverend Prof Mante reaffirm the Church’s support for the construction of the Cathedral and called on all Christians to donate towards it.

Professor Kwadwo Nimfour Opoku Onyinah, Chairperson, Board of Trustees for the National Cathedral, who received the donation, expressed appreciation to the Church for the gesture.
