The ‘prodigal’ son of the late Al-Qaeda terrorist, Omar bin Laden, has been made to vacate Normandy in France, on account of ‘weird’ posts on social media which reeked of ‘terrorism’.
Omar bin Laden had been living in Normandy for many years, painting landscapes and doing everything as a law-abiding citizen until the forced deportation.
According to reports from the Interior Minister of France, Bruno Retailleau, the papers had been aimed to ban Omar bin Laden on grounds of national security.
A French friend of Omar’s, Pascal Martin, mentioned instances where he described the latter as calm and one who is opposed to Islamist terrorism and that the ‘terrorism’ post was published because Omar’s account was hacked.
Pascal Martin is a close friend of Omar bin Laden and has been helping to auction his paintings in France.
It might be recalled that Omar’s father, Osama bin Laden, was killed by United States armed forces in 2011, and the ‘alleged’ social media post was meant to commemorate the terrorist’s birthday.
