Legendary Coach, Jose Mourinho has waded in on the England and Spain Euro 2024 final match, stating that the match could go either way.
He made the prediction in an interview with Sporty TV ahead of England’s crash with Spain.
England booked a place in their second consecutive Euro finals after beating Netherland in a crunchy match.
On their part, the Spain team have had an incredible run, with a 100 percent unbeaten record, with their highest point beating the home team, Germany, in the quarter finals.
But ahead of the game, the Fenerbahçe coach is of the view that the win could go either way.
‘‘Reaching a final is 50/50. It can go either way’’, he stated.
While he is convinced that the English team has an assembly of fantastic individual players, he was quick to add that they have not been phenomenal as a team.
Conversely, he congratulated the Spanish team for their phenomenon run, having beaten France and Germany to qualify for the final.
‘‘If you ask me which team I prefer, it will be hard to say emotionally. Because I live in England and in Spain, I have done a lot of work there. But I fancy how the Spanish team play’’, he observed.
England is expected to slug it out with a much compact Spanish team in Euro 2024 final match.
