5 Employees arrested for stealing from K. Ofori Enterprise granted bail

The Five employees of Kwadwo Ofori Limited that were arrested back in December for an alleged theft of Ghc2.6 million in stock, have been granted bail in a sum of Ghc 5 million by the Accra Circuit Court.

The accused persons were in the name of Santa Nangba, a 27-year-old Sales Manager; Peter Bawla, a 28-year-old Supervisor; William Dagadu, 27, Michael Jeffery a 28-year-old IT Technician and Felix Ofori -Boafo, a cashier. 

They were each granted a bail of Ghc1 million and also asked to produce a surety. 

These sureties were a land within Central Accra, a civil servant earning less than Ghc 3,000 and lastly a family member.

The case which was presided by His Honour, Samuel Bright Acquah, also asked them to make sure to report once every week to the case investigator and that should be on Wednesdays. 

The case was however adjourned to January 23, 2023.

The accused persons had already pleaded not guilty to the crimes alleged back in December when they were apprehended.
